completely exhausted, but ready for change!

Wow, I can't believe so much time has gone by since I last posted. As you can imagine, things have been really hectic around here. Today is the big day- time to move! My flight is at 5 PM this evening. I haven't been posting any outfits because, of course, all my things are packed up in boxes and actually on their way to Germany as I speak. I can't believe I'm really doing this! Once I get settled down in my new apartment, I'll get back into the swing of blogging. Until then, cheers!

Hot Hot Heat

It was so unbelievably hot today- 98*! I found this adorable necklace hiding in my jewlery box. I love finding things you totally forgot you had! It's like shopping in your own room, and for an unbeatable price too. I still need to find a better place to take pictures. Everyone always has such cute backgrounds, and you all get to see my laundry basket. I'm really sorry!

I had a coupon for Urban Outfitters, so I couldn't resist ordering all this cute stuff!
zipper bracelet, cropped peach top, tshirt dress, black blazer, acid wash jeans, hoops, and studded belt
I'll be sure to post pictures when I get my package!

I'm always really interested in what beauty products other bloggers are using, so I'm going to take the oppurtunity to share mine! Aussie is always my choice brand for haircare. I wash my hair at night, about an hour and a half before I go to bed. AND I NEVER USE HEAT!

I just use plain old head and shoulders for my shampoo (not pictured) because I tend to get dry scalp. Then I use the Burt's Bees and apply it only to my scalp. I use the Aussie Deeeep on the ends of my hair. The smell is to die for- coconut! Actually, all Aussie products smell amazing (and they're dirt cheap too).

My hair is naturally wavy, but unfortunately really poofy. When my hair is damp (not dripping) I apply a good dollop of Aussie Catch the Wave mousse- it's also a leave-in conditioner, which is great! I take it one step further by spritzing my hair with Aussie sprunch, and then SCRUNCH. I let my hair dry a bit more and then put it up in a bun before I go to bed. Sleeping on it gives your hair extra wave.

In the morning I use a bit of Tresemme tres two hairspray to get rid of any fuzzies I might have. If my hair is really dry, I use just a teeny bit of Bed Head Ego Boost on the very ends. Then I repeat the process again in the evening. If for some reason I don't have time to take a shower, I'll just pick up some baby powder on a big fluffy brush and apply it to the scalp, which helps to soak up any excess oils. My hair looks so much healthier now that I don't use heat anymore! Hope that helped if anyone was interested in what I use on my hair!

San Francisco

I just flew out to SF today to visit some friends of mine and I've already adjusted to the Cali life. If Germany doesn't work out, then I'd be quite content to move here instead! Everything is just so beautiful and I love the fog...In case you were wondering, no, this isn't my first time to visit the great SF. I've been here 3 times before, but regardless, it always takes my breath away! Oh how I love to be able to wear slouchy beanies in the summer.

Weekend Goodies

Went to Nordstrom Rack this morning in search of a new watch and wallet. Found just what I was looking for!

Coach Watch (please ignore my hairy arm...)

Dooney & Bourke Wallet- the plate is gold, not silver

The "Bella" Jacket (bella wears it in the twilight movie). thought this would be perfect for germany, although I felt a bit silly buying a coat in July!

I just had my wisdom teeth pulled on Wednesday (!), so my face is still pretty puffy. Because of that, I will kindly spare you a full face shot in this post. I decided to include some pictures of my EOTD (eye of the day), enjoy!

Well my top USED to be a dress, but it shrunk up in the dryer, way up.... And I look *ahem* a bit uneven "up there" because I had yet to put on a strapless and just pulled the straps down and thus, an unattractive look.

Weekend Haul

Urban Outfitters had a huge extra 50% off what was already on sale this weekend. Of course I had to go! I got all these beautiful things for only $75. I'm feeling pretty cool! I absolutely adore the bag.

I feel pretty sick today, so being fashionable isn't quite as fun. It was a bit chilly this morning, so I added the jacket. Going shopping on Sunday and quite excited!

Can't decide which piece of jewelry to wear? Then wear them all!! I feel like this way too often.

I personally feel like these shoes make my legs look wayyy too long and make me look like a stork :x Oh well. I'm in love with these foldover shorts. So comfy and great for summer.

Birthday Celebration

Going out for my friend's birthday celebration dinner. Decided to throw on the leather jacket as I'm sure it'll be chilly in the restuarant. Have a nice evening!
p.s. decided to keep on the red lipstick! =D

Red Lips

& a fake mole! =) Just playing around with my makeup this afternoon. I don't think I could ever wear such a bold lip out in public, but it's fun to prance around in at home.

I couldn't decide whether I should go with the vest buttoned or unbuttoned. I ended up not buttoning it....The black "base" is just a tank top tucked into fold over shorts.

all items from topshop & urban outfitters

Yes, I really do need a bathing suit and a leather jacket! I hate when I just get into the swing of the summer routine and I'm already awaiting fall. I just can't wait for sweaters, boots, and cute hats. Fall is the time when I'm really feeling fashionable. What about you?

Dinner Party

top & purse- Urban Outfitters
shoes- Steve Madden
skirt- Victoria's Secret
glass ring- Laila Rowe

Tonight I'm going out for a dinner party at a hip restaurant downtown. I haven't worn this top before, but I like the asymmetrical cut of it. The shoes are sure to prove to be immpractical!

Saturday's Look

Please excuse the fact that I look stoned in my outfit picture! =) I bought the shoes from target and they have gotten plenty of love over the past couple of weeks. Here's a "weekend makeup look" I do because it's so simple, but still sexy. I do think I need to learn how to do something better with my hair, though! I just don't have the patience to straighten it everyday.
I'm going to go test out this new Italian gelato place after lunch today. It gets raves reviews and I can't wait for something sweet and cool. Yum.

Funky Watch

I am dying to buy this watch. It's cute, but has that funk factor that adds the extra oomph. It also comes in black and gray, but I think brown is the nicest by far. It would add spice to any outfit. I can just picture it now *sigh* From: Urban Outfitters.

Currently Listening To

You Fucked Up My Life- Blink 182

Blink 182 is definitely my favorite band of all time. They define punk rock. Not to mention Mark Hoppus is smokin'.

The prettiest place on earth

Now if this isn't a fairytale city, then I don't know what is. Meet my future home- Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Sunniest and greenest city in all of Germany. Population: 220,000. The dialect there is wicked. Because of its close proximity to Switzerland, the dialect sounds closer to Swiss German and is far, far from Hochdeutsch (I suppose if I wanted to speak that, then I'd be moving to Hannover). I'll be moving to a whole new life in less than two months! I don't think it's quite hit me yet.

This has got to be my favorite everyday eyelook. And the best part about it? You can get it for dirt cheap. No high end products here. No sir. In general, I find the best products come from the drugstore (or perhaps it's mental because it's easy on the wallet).
What I used:
-Wet n' Wild Sandcastle Palette
-Prestige Brown Liquid Liner
-Revlon Colorstay Liner in Brown
-L'Oreal Extra Collagen Mascara in Blackest Black

Outfit of the Day

Or should I say...outfit of yesterday? I think I need to clear a special spot for taking pictures...I personally love mixing black and brown. Too many people find it cliche.

Outfit of the Day

I saw these gorgeous shoes on another blogger the other day and just had to have them. When I found out they were Aerosoles, I was a bit hesitant as it's not a brand I consider "hip". Boy, am I sure glad I went and checked them out. They are beautifullll and I've already gotten tons of compliments on them. So versatile.
